Terms of Use
By downloading or using Limitra you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are short.
Limitra is made by Narek Sumbatyan, an independent developer ("we", "us"). Limitra is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These terms add to the Apple EULA; if they conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
1. Not legal, immigration or tax advice
Limitra is a planning tool. It counts days from the trips you enter. It does not give legal, immigration or tax advice, and its results are not an official decision.
- Border officers decide whether you can enter or stay, and tax authorities decide where you are resident. Their records and rules come first.
- Results are only as accurate as the trips you enter. Check your entry and exit dates, and keep your own records (for example passport stamps and tickets).
- Limitra applies the general Schengen 90/180 rule for short stays. It does not know about visas, residence permits, national long-stay rules, bilateral agreements or special cases that may apply to you.
- The 183-day check only counts days. Tax residence often depends on other tests too (in the UK, the Statutory Residence Test), and rules differ by country. Ask a qualified adviser for your situation.
- Rules can change. We work to keep Limitra up to date, but before an important trip check official sources, such as the European Commission's short-stay calculator.
2. Limitra Pro
- Limitra Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription, yearly or monthly, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends).
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancel or change your plan in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Lifetime is a single payment for Limitra Pro for as long as the app is available, with no renewals.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. To ask for a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- On a new iPhone or after reinstalling, tap Restore on the Limitra Pro screen to get Pro back on the same Apple ID.
Your days left today and your latest exit date are free and stay free.
3. Your data
How Limitra handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. Your trips are stored on your iPhone and, if you turn on backup, in your own iCloud. We don't have a copy and can't recover trips that are lost.
4. Our content
The app, its texts, design and icon belong to us. You may use Limitra for your own travel planning, but not copy or sell it. Limitra is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the European Union, the European Commission or any government.
5. No warranty and limits of liability
Limitra is provided "as is". We test the calculations carefully, but we can't promise that the app will always be error-free or that every feature will always work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using Limitra — including refused entry, fines, overstays, travel costs or tax — and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Limitra Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
6. Changes
We may update the app and these terms. When the terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using Limitra after a change, the new terms apply.
